LOVE IS BEING A GOOD NEIGHBOR
ARE YOU A GOOD NEIGHBOR?
Luke 10…The parable of the Good Samaritan.
27 “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind;’ and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” -- Luke 10:27
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, …but do not have love, I am nothing. -- I Corinthains 13:2
WHY DON’T WE ACT OUT OUR FAITH WITH LOVE?
#1 WE FAIL TO SEE THE FOLKS AS OUR “NEIGHBOR!”
Love…is doing something for someone you do not know, and who cannot repay!
#2 WE FEAR THE RISKS.
If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture,
“Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right. -- James 2:8
“He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and HE will reward him for what he has
done.” -- Proverbs 19:17

#3 OUR FOCUS ON SELF TOO MUCH IS WRONG.
